“Amanda’s knowledge of theatre makes her an exceptional asset when casting and putting together a company. She has a strong sense of integrity, is always open to suggestions, is very easy to engage in discussions concerning all aspects of a production, and is a generous and active listener. Consequently, any production Amanda undertakes is superbly well-realised on many levels.”

“This was a great ensemble performance, tightly and imaginatively directed by Amanda Noar”
— London Pub Theatres Magazine, 4*
Director/choreographer Amanda Noar has done a superb job of transposing the show into this wonderfully intimate and welcoming space. I would honestly be quite happy to tick off every remaining classic musical on my list at this venue and with this team. Road Show was certainly worth the wait.
Ian Bowkett 5*
“Ultimate praise must go to Amanda Noar for cleverly representing the different jobs featured in Working and bringing together such a great company.”

"Director/choreographer Amanda Noar has done a superb job of transposing the show into this wonderfully intimate and welcoming space.”
— Musical Theatre Review, 5*
“The brilliant direction by Amanda Noar allows for these spaces to be suddenly spot lit or thrown into darkness, emphasising parallels or curious juxtapositions between workers as their confessions and experiences begin to dovetail.”
— The Spy In The Stalls, 4*
“Produced, directed and choreographed by Amanda Noar – an actress with impressive credits of her own. Under the banner of her theatre company Impact, Noar has assembled a ridiculously talented cast and allowed them to excel individually and as an ensemble…The cast also dances and Noar’s routines enhance each story.”
— Jewish News, 4*
“The production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown at Upstairs at the Gatehouse, directed and choreographed by Amanda Noar, showcases such duality with remarkable effort. Noar captures the essence of Charles M. Schulz’s characters with a blend of whimsy and depth”
— A Young(ish) Perspective, 4*
Director Amanda Noar doesn’t swerve a challenge. Her production of You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, which also ran at this venue was a kooky gem.
In Pippin, Noar tackles troubling questions about ambition and shimmering disappointments, delivered with circus-themed, theatrical panache.
Choreography [also Noar] is brilliantly inventive and seductive with Bob Fosse’s legacy [he directed and choreographed the show’s first Broadway outing] celebrated in numbers cued in with canes and top hats.
Ham & High 4*
“Only Human is a triumph of staging (one presumes as a consequence of excellent directing by Amanda Noar)
Noar is to be congratulated on a very thought-provoking piece, posing a question over the idea that humanity trumps robotic excellence. Amanda delivered on this notion throughout, notably at the end by creating a tension between the closing speech of the judge (in the audience) and the personalities of the three players (on stage), despite two of them being robots.”
— Frank Kaye, 5*
This production has been directed and choreographed by Amanda Noar. Noar's direction is slick, allowing for the text to emerge in its brilliance with priority given to allowing the characters the space to be fully developed. Pippin, which is also known for its spectacle, has been given a more stripped back approach yet still feels as dazzling as ever.
Noar's choreography allows for the player's movements to feel fluid and grand, filling the space with practiced perfection. The dance numbers performed by the players are impressive, with lifts and flips that have the audience in awe. i
